A Tom Fazio designed, classic low-country golf course meticulously laid out among the live oaks, tall pines, sand and natural flora. Water features are seen on 15 holes but many lakes are for visual effect and not in play.
Course plays to a 71 par and is just over 6,800 yards long from the tips. Four sets of tees to match skill levels. Tees and fairways are a hybrid bermuda (GN1); approach areas are Tif-sport bermuda; greens are A1 Bentgrass. Like many European courses, the ninth hole does not return to the clubhouse. An upper-tier, high demand premium course with surcharges of $55 to $115. Midweek specials and Barefoot 3-Play packages reduce the surcharges somewhat. Wonderful clubhouse with excellent dining available. Now with a 30 acre lighted practice facility, teaching school, pizzeria and sports bar.
