Along with Parkland and Moorland, Heathland completes a 54-hole golf complex at the Legends. Past honors include its selection as one of the "Top Ten New Courses for 1990" by Golf Magazine. Heathland is well-known for its link style landscape with an absence of trees and an abundance of pot bunkers, wide rolling fairways, and occasional menacing winds.

The Legends features a clubhouse modeled after the Royal & Ancient Golf Club in Scotland. Premium course surcharges range from $25 to $55. Midweek specials are available discounting the rate by about $10 most dates. Heathland is a member of the Legends Golf Group along with Parkland, Moorland, Oyster Bay and the Heritage Club.
