Past honors include Golf Digest naming Moorland one of the "Top Five New Public Courses" and awarded it 4.5 stars in their "Places to Play". Along with Heathland and Parkland, Moorland makes up the 54-hole golf complex at the Legends.

P.B. Dye's penchant for deep pot bunkers, multi-level fairways and greens, and railway-tie bulkheads add to the challenge of this links style course.

Premium course surcharges range from $25 to $55. Surcharges are reduced by about $10 when Moorland is booked as part of a Legends 3-Play or a Legends/TPC 3-Play on a CENTURY 21 Thomas Beach Vacations. Moorland is a member of the popular Legends Golf Group along with Heathland, Parkland, Oyster Bay and Heritage Club.

Take SC 9 west from North Myrtle Beach. Take the US 31 ramp toward Myrtle Beach/Georgetown. Merge onto US 501 North toward Conway. Take left onto Legends Drive. Clubhouse is about 2 miles to end of road. Approximate drive time: 40 minutes.
