Coming from a back ground in education and corporate insurance sales, real estate seemed a logical choice as her next career. She and her husband first purchased oceanfront property for investment purposes and as a vacation home in 1986. In June 1994 they relocated permanently to the area, both agreeing the oceanfront was the place for fun and relaxation. In December, Brenda joined CENTURY 21 Thomas and has consistently been a top producer. She holds a broker's license in North and South Carolina and is an active member in the local Grand Strand Board of Realtors.

Brenda attributes her success in business to knowing her product and understanding her clients’ needs. She has researched the area and educated herself in every aspect of real estate, enabling her to make the right decisions when buying or selling properties for her clients.
