I have been in real estate since 1980 and am a licensed real estate broker in South Carolina. My passion for real estate is matched by few. My love of the land, especially on the waterfront, and the design and construction of buildings and homes has driven me to pursue this business in a manner of excellence, fulfilling my clients' dreams while maximizing their investments.

I grew up and lived most of my life in Land of 10,000 Lakes, Minnesota. I have always loved the water and specialized in waterfront properties throughout my career. Another passion, my love of carpentry, began while working at my grandfather's side and became my first career as I attained Journeyman status. A full-time career in real estate eventually led to opening my own office, a company which I and my wife, Nancy, built and ran for ten years prior to our move to South Carolina.

My lifelong dream of living by the ocean and working with oceanfront properties finally became a reality when we settled on North Myrtle Beach as the best place for our family. Although our three older children are away at school, the youngest is still at home keeping us involved in many school, church and community activities. We all love the beach and can often be found there during any free time. Our dog, Gracie, greets everyone she meets on the beach and enjoys splashing in the waves. Even the cat doesn't mind a trip to the beach for family photos.
