I grew up in the Chicago area. At 18, I joined the United States Marine Corps and married my high school sweetheart, Eileen. The Marines instilled in me lifelong traits that I use to this day - pride, honesty, loyalty, and above all... perseverance.
In the early 1990's, we took a second honeymoon to Myrtle Beach and we instantly fell in love with the Grand Strand and all it has to offer. We purchased our first property here in 1994 and continued to commute from the Midwest as often as possible to enjoy the beach, shopping, dining and championship golf. Our children were very supportive of our decision to move here full time in 2000. They all agreed, "At least we have somewhere great to go when we visit you."
