Chateau by the Sea P3

We stayed in this unit the fouth of July week 2010. The view of the ocean (what view) was not what the picture they have on here. There is a new hugh motel that was built right beside of this motel. If you went on the deck you enjoyed looking at this building.Never had any sun on deck. Had to keep blind shut so the unit of the other building cound not see you sitting in your room. Only got a little view of the ocean. Room was smaller than the pictures showed. Better like to walk up stairs lots of them.Not alot of cooking pots or bowls etc in the kitchen to work with. Did love the area that we stayed in. Not the best vacation that we had hoped for. Hopes this helps so you want be in shock as we were. Thanks

Although we regret that the guest was disappointed with the view or lack of elevator, the Chateau by the Sea building is described and advertised as having both oceanfront and side/oceanview condominiums available. The particular condo selected by this guest is described online and in the reservation confirmation that was sent to the guest as having a "sideview balcony" and is priced accordingly, $100 less per week than the condos with "oceanfront balconies". Additionly, there is no mention of elevators in the features/amenities list for this complex.
