The holiday decorations at The Calvin Gilmore Theater are an attraction in themselves—second to none. PIRATES' CHRISTMAS at Pirates Voyage

Celebrate all of things that make the holidays special as the Mystical Christmas Spirit takes Captain Scrooge on a journey through time and space to find the meaning of Christmas. Cheer along as giant Christmas toys come to life and perform amazing acrobatics high above the lagoon. Laugh at the hi jinks of a comical castaway and her sea lion companion. And, gaze in awe and wonder at a live Nativity featuring three wise men on camels and an angel with a special message for landlubbers and pirates alike.

The City of North Myrtle Beach, in partnership with Little Spider Creations, is excited to announce a NEW family Christmas event – Christmas Wonderland in North Myrtle Beach - open November 26 through December 31, 5:30 pm-10:30 pm at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex (visit the website offered below for operating schedule and ticket information).

This unique family-friendly event offers activities for all ages. Visitors will experience a wide variety of attractions, including a hayride light show, a “Trip to the North Pole” 3-D Walk, a Christmas “Under the Sea“ Puppet show, Cirque Du Elf; a high-wire circus act, a petting zoo, and more. Visitors can also help Santa “save Christmas” in South Carolina’s first interactive holiday paintball attraction.

Each attraction consists of elaborate Christmas Wonderland sets, which create a magical family Christmas Experience. The Christmas Wonderland also features pictures with Santa, a Community Stage with local talent, a vendor village selling Christmas arts and crafts, and much more. Christmas Wonderland opens Thanksgiving night (November 26) at 5:30 pm.

TRAINS, TREES and TRINKETS - at Brookgreen Gardens

2015 holiday exhibit theme builds upon its previous show-stopping displays of electric model trains (both Lionel and American Flyer), period Christmas trees, and other nostalgia from holiday celebrations of the Twentieth Century. For children, a new “Thomas the Train and Friends” display is featured in the front of the gallery. The exhibit is free with garden admission. *Additional showings January 1 - 3.

Each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving comes a spectacular maritime parade along the Intracoastal Waterway. You'll see scores of boats from skiffs to sloops - all decked out with colorful lights and holiday themes. Gather the family, bring your chairs and watch the nautical parade as it passes various viewing areas between Little River and Dock Holidays Marina. 5PM to 7PM

See Brookgreen Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than 5,500 hand-lit candles and countless sparkling lights from 3 - 10 p.m. Walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, hear the sounds of hand bells ringing, carolers singing, and celebrate the season with family and friends.

Nights of a Thousand Candles continues to delight guests with beautiful candle and lighting displays and exceptional entertainment. The 80-foot-tall Holiday Fir tree decorated with 60,000 lights will be lighted in ceremonial fashion at 5:45 p.m. every night.
