Travel Directions to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach Map

Whether by air or land, getting to North Myrtle Beach is easier, safer and quicker than ever.

If you are traveling by car, the major routes into North Myrtle Beach are Highways 9, 22, and 501 from the west and Highway 17 from the north and south. Highways 9 and 501 are accessible from Interstate 95.

Highway 17 extends nearly 1200 miles from Winchester, Virginia to Punta Gorda, Florida and parallels the Atlantic Ocean from Little River to Georgetown.

Highway 501 intersects Highway 17 Bypass as it enters Myrtle Beach by way of Conway and has long been the primary entry to the beach.

Highway 9 is a bit less traveled and enters North Myrtle Beach in the Cherry Grove area.

Highway 22 (Veterans' Highway) is a new Interstate-style scenic route that can be taken from Highway 501 west of Conway near Aynor all the way to Highway 17 just below the Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach, bypassing Conway and the bulk of Myrtle Beach traffic altogether.

Highway 31 (Carolina Bays Parkway) is another new Interstate-style scenic route. The primary portion stretches from Highway 9 just west of North Myrtle Beach to Highway 501 between Conway and Myrtle Beach. The newest portion extends south from Highway 501 to Highway 544 which, in turn, leads to Highway 17 in Surfside Beach. In addition to the connections to Highways 544, 501 and 9, there are exits connecting to Highway 22 and to Grissom Parkway in Myrtle Beach. A connector to Main Street in North Myrtle Beach and an extension of the highway into North Carolina are planned.

Regardless of your route, once you reach the beach you will approach our offices by way of Highway 17. For our office at 625 Sea Mountain Highway, leave Hwy 17 at the Cherry Grove Beach exit and continue right onto Sea Mountain Highway (SC 9 Ext) toward the beach. Our office is about one mile ahead on the right.

If you're checking in at our office in the Ocean Drive section, turn east toward the beach onto Main Street off Hwy 17. This office is on the left at 404-A Main Street. Please allow yourself ample time, drive safely, and have a pleasant journey.
