North Myrtle Beach Resorts & Communities
North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with its miles of sun-kissed beaches and more than 100 world-class golf courses, offers a very coveted lifestyle. Our Grand Strand is situated along coastal South Carolina just about midway between Charleston, SC and Wilmington, NC, and is flanked on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and the west by the Intracoastal Waterway. Just to the north and across the border are the neighboring North Carolina coastal communities of Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach, and Calabash. With its natural beauty and abundant recreational opportunities, our area includes the thriving communities of North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and Little River.
Once a quaint fishing village, Little River lies on the border of the Carolinas and is home to the annual Blue Crab Festival. You'll also find appetizing fare at local seafood restaurants, several unique shops, and a fleet of fishing boats ready to take you on an exciting outing to the Gulf Stream. Little River is home to River Hills Golf & Country Club.
Cherry Grove's scenic salt marshes are home to colorful and fascinating wildlife. Many of our vacation homes are situated along channels that connect to the meandering creeks of the inlet's salt marsh. Relax on the deck of your channel home and watch the pelicans and egrets dive for food. Even better, grab your crab line and net and catch your own fresh seafood dinner.
Located in the Little River Neck area of Cherry Grove is Tidewater Golf Plantation, a gated residential community on one of the top golf courses of the east coast.
South of Cherry Grove, you'll find Tilghman Beach with its spacious oceanfront and off-ocean homes. Tilghman Beach (also referred to as Tilghman Estates) is the home to the Surf Golf Club. It is a beautiful, established neighborhood with many residential homes close to the beach and conveniences such as schools, churches, and shopping centers. New residential developments in this area include Seaside Plantation, Ocean Keyes, and the Tilghman Beach Resort.
Tucked away in a North Myrtle Beach location long known for its serene and special waterway views, Sunset Harbour has been carefully planned to preserve and protect the natural beauty of the land and to enhance the Sunset Harbour residents' enjoyment of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Adjacent and further south are Ocean Drive Beach and Crescent Beach. Be sure to wear your dancing shoes, because Ocean Drive is the home of the Shag - the South Carolina State Dance - a more laid back and innovative version of the jitterbug. Enjoy a pleasant meal at one of the Main Street restaurants, catch up on your souvenir shopping in the beach shops, or sample the atmostphere and beach music at one of the boulevard night clubs.
Windy Hill is the southernmost section of North Myrtle Beach and home to Barefoot Landing, a delightful entertainment, dining and shopping village. The kids will love Alligator Adventure and you'll have a grand evening at the Alabama Theatre or House of Blues. The 2,300-acre Barefoot Resort features luxury villas, estate homes and more as well as four first-class championship golf courses by Pete Dye, Davis Love III, Greg Norman, and Tom Fazio.
Enjoy the family atmosphere of North Myrtle Beach. You'll be just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach proper. Best of all, you'll find beautiful, clean and safe beaches for your family's pleasure. Thanks for visiting.
