Just a reminder...
A marriage license must be obtained from a South Carolina county courthouse. The fee is $50 to $100 and there is a 24-hour waiting period. The marriage license is valid throughout the state and does not expire. Although a physical exam or blood test is NOT required, you must provide a photo identification and a social security card. An application can be obtained by contacting one of the court offices listed below. Typical courthouse office hours are Monday - Friday, 8AM to 4PM, except for holidays.
