Ice Cream Beach

Few things go together like ice cream and the beach. Maybe that's why we have so many great ice cream shops here in Myrtle Beach.

With so many top-notch creameries to choose from, it can be hard to know where to best satisfy your sweet tooth on a hot summer day. Luckily, our real estate agents are here to share their favorite places to indulge in something cold and sweet in the Myrtle Beach area.

  • Mad Myrtle's Ice Creamery - 918 S Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
A cozy ice cream parlor right in the heart of Myrtle Beach, Mad Myrtle's Ice Creamery is a reliable destination for tasty treats. Close to the beach and minutes from these Myrtle Beach homes for sale, this place serves up classic and creative ice cream flavors in a friendly space decorated with vintage memorabilia. Mad Myrtle's also dishes out some outstanding sundaes, milkshakes, and funnel cakes.

  • Sweet Molly's Creamery - 4728F Hwy 17 S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
It doesn't get much better than Sweet Molly's Creamery, a small family-owned ice cream shop that makes its own ice cream in-house. This counter-serve spot typically has around 20 flavors ready to scoop on any given day, along with all the toppings your heart desires. They're also known for their epic, overloaded sundaes.

  • Kirk's 1890 Ice Cream Parlor - 2500 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
A classic mom-and-pop ice cream joint in the center of Myrtle Beach, Kirk's 1890 Ice Cream Parlor has been doling out scoop after scoop of their excellent product for a long, long time. Their display case is packed with around 40 flavors, so feel free to mix and match! Kirk's makes amazing banana splits, root beer floats, ice cream sundaes, and milkshakes, too.

  • Ocean Bay Creamery - 4036 River Oaks Dr Unit B3, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579
Nestled in the Forest Village shopping center, Ocean Bay Creamery is another standout ice cream shop. A convenient location and 15-plus house-made flavors of ice cream make this a popular option for locals and tourists alike. Tasty options like salted caramel, chocolate peanut butter, and lemon poppyseed are made in-house. Ocean Bay Creamery is also known for their shakes and floats, and they always have at least one or two non-dairy ice cream flavors on hand.

  • Daddio's Ice Cream & Things - 206 7th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
The folks at Daddio's Ice Cream & Things know their stuff when it comes to dessert. This Myrtle Beach ice cream shop offers soft serve as well as 24 flavors of hard ice cream. Their menu also includes tempting offerings like chocolate-dipped frozen bananas, deep-fried Oreos, and some of the best milkshakes. You can't miss their colorful storefront on 7th Avenue, footsteps from the beach.

  • Sugar Life Ice Cream & Candy - 2700S Hwy 17 S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
If it's sweet and delicious, chances are you'll find it at Sugar Life Ice Cream & Candy.
