  Trade those dancing shoes for running shoes for the 42nd Annual Winter Run, brought to you by the Grand Strand Running Club. The 42nd Annual Winter Run takes place on January 18, 2025, with all races kicking off at 8:00 AM. There will be both a 5K and 15K run, both leaving from the same starting line at the same time. All participants in both races will receive a lovely finisher's medal, as well as a commemorative t-shirt.

  The popular Jazz in the Stacks event at the Chapin Memorial Library is growing this year, with free, live jazz concerts every evening, rather than just Tuesday evenings like it was in the past.
