Hopsewee Plantation Ghost Tour is an annual event that helps raise money for maintenance and preservation of the Hopsewee Plantation, a National Historic Landmark. In other seasons, the site is known for dining, film screenings, and educational tours. During the scary season, the 18th-century plantation home turns into a whole haunted house with special effects, costumed actors, and more.
Conway Ghost Walk is one of the biggest Halloween events of the season in Conway, which changes its name to "Halloween, SC" for October. You'll want to book your tickets quickly, since this event happens October 16 and October 18.. Professional storytellers will lead you through the area so you can discover all the haunted history of the local area. That includes several distinct local ghost stories.
If you've been around Myrtle Beach for a while, you're already familiar with Broadway on the Beach. It's 350 acres of shopping, dining, and fun at the largest entertainment complex in South Carolina. Although it's best known for its fireworks and its colossal Ferris wheel, Halloween Bash on the Avenue is another great event taking place here every year. It takes place on October 26 and will include a live DJ and costumes.
Situated within the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, Halloween BOONanza is a top-rated annual event that happens on the evening of October 26 in 2025. Open to guests of all ages for $5 per visitor, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and includes a whole slew of amenities:

Halloween on the Marshwalk is a long-running Halloween celebration and one of the only local events that will actually take place on Halloween night itself, October 31. It has one of the biggest costume contests!
