A few days after your Thanksgiving feast, the Winter Wonderland at the Beach's Christmas Tree Lighting will signal the official start of the holidays in Myrtle Beach. During this once-a-season event, the 30-foot Christmas tree installed in Plyler Park will light up for the first time in 2025. An artificial snow machine will provide a wintry ambiance to make the big moment even more dramatic.

The tree lighting will take place at approximately 6 PM on November 29th. Consider heading to the park a little early to make sure you don't miss it. Look out for live performances and caroling, visits from holiday characters, and other festive entertainment at the park to keep you busy while you wait.
